Margaret Holzmann (she/her) enjoys designing the big things like sweaters and blankets, using them as a canvas to explore color and shapes. As a former engineer she excels in developing new construction techniques, and the geometry of knitting. Her "new colorwork" approach has opened up the possibilities of knitting. Margaret lives in Monrovia, CA with her husband, a cat and intermittently, with children studying at university. Her designs have been featured in knitting magazines, books, and she published 30 blanket designs in her book: "Geometric Knitted Blankets" in 2021.
