The Lace Knittery
A family run cornucopia of yarn and fibre delights. Set in the beautiful south Somerset countryside but easily accessible from all major routes. We have a wide range of all weights of yarn and specialise in natural, premium and heritage brands.
The Lace Knittery was founded in 2013. Since then we have grown both our physical and online presences as a family business with my daughter in the shop and husband at my side at shows throughout the year. We are based in south Somerset on a 19c Manor where we fill an entire barn. It is easily accessible from major roads and fully wheelchair accessible. The site hosts a cafe, boutique shops and plenty of parking. we often welcome crafting groups for a day out. Heritage is important to us, and Rowan Yarns are a must. I have long been in love with kidsilk haze and we stock the entire colour palette as well as a wide range of other Rowan yarns and books. We have a weekly knit night, run classes on a range of knitting, corchet and fibre topics and are always on hand with a smile and warm welcome for any queries, suggestions or encouragement.
